Well-known chip design company ARM said Monday, the smart phone market this year is expected to grow by 10%; France’s second-largest mobile operator SFR said that strong demand for smart phones.

The first quarter of this year’s decline in mobile phone market reached a new high in history, analysts estimated that production fell by 13% -16%. The industry generally is expected by the current economic crisis, the global handset market in 2009 will shrink by 10%.
