UK mobile phone networks T-Mobile and 3 have today confirmed that they are in discussions to offer Google’s Nexus One handset in the UK. “We are in talks with Google and hope to have something to announce soon,” a T-Mobile spokesman told Total Telecom, while a 3 UK spokesman said the mobile operator was also “in talks with Google on ranging the Nexus One.” “It’s a great Internet phone and we expect plenty of people to import it to the U.K.,” commented David Kerrigan, head of Internet services at 3 UK, in an email to Total Telecom. During Google’s official unveiling of the Nexus One handset on Tuesday it was revealed that Vodafone would be the first European carrier to launch the Nexus One in the UK, followed by France, Germany, and Spain
