HTC phones will face challenge from Motorola, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and other manufacturers this year, these companies will publish a large number of smart phones in 2010.

From the smart phone sales hand, Motorola smart phones in the fourth quarter sales had actually exceeded the HTC smart phone market squeezed into the top four, according to “Economic Journal” statistics show that ended last year, 12 more and more on the 1st until the fourth quarter, Motorola sold a total of 2.5 million smart phones market share of 4.6%; and HTC smart phones sold during the same period, only 2.4 million, a market share of 4.4%.

Samsung mobile phones despite the smart phone market, HTC is still ranked after, but the South Korean mobile phone brand has offered based on Windows Mobile, Android and Limo systems such as smart phones, but they also plans to launch the second quarter of this year, with Bada-grown platform, there are smart phones. According to “Economic Times” is expected to Samsung smart phones sold this year, is expected to reach about 800-1,000 million, while last year the company’s smart phone is only 5.7 million sold.

LG had previously said they will launch a 20-year wide range of smart phones, and said his goal this year is to reach 10 million smart phones sold. However, Taiwan-based mobile phone companies think that LG’s goal appears to be too wishful thinking, and is expected to LG smart phone sales this year probably will be around 300-500 million units.

The source also said that as the Sony Ericsson smart phones increased by Foxconn the company’s foundry capacity, the Sony Ericsson smart phone products competitive in the market this year will be greatly enhanced, and pointed out that Sony Ericsson will soon launch the second quarter of this year, Aspen Systems Based on Windows Mobile smartphones.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain is still nearly a month away, but impatience has triggered a feeding frenzy of hope and supposition when it comes to what Microsoft will be announcing at the show. Depending on who you believe, the Redmond, WA software giant will either display its upcoming Windows Phone 7 — a “completely different” new mobile operating system platform, as one Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) senior executive put it recently — or it will show a fairly pedestrian offering that rumor mongers have been referring to as Windows Phone 6.6. (As of last summer, Microsoft began referring to its mobile operating system as Windows Phone.) The first rumor, if true, could be the saving grace of Microsoft’s stumbling mobile phone strategy. The second might be the death knell for a decade’s worth of spending billions to play catch up — and not very well — against more nimble competitors.

Our Five Reasons to Choose series gives you an instant guide to the things you need to know about every mobile OS.

Part three: WebOS

1. Social integration
The number one reason to choose a Palm Pre (or the upcoming Palm Pixi) is that the device integrates with multiple social networks. For example, you can maintain one contact for both Facebook and LinkedIn, or view one message thread for AOL IM and Google Talk chats.

2. Multitasking
Palm Pre offers the best multi-tasking of any smartphone platform. You can run multiple apps, and they are shown in a unique card interface that makes it easy to switch between then. The iPhone does not support multi-tasking (although you can run the music player with open apps), and other platforms use fiddly menus to switch between apps.

3. Unique interface
Palm Pre uses the webOS platform, which emphasizes finger gestures to control apps – similar to the iPhone, but just a hair more intuitive especially when it comes to understanding which apps are open and how to manage memory by closing open apps.

4. Easier charging
The Palm Pre offers the Touchstone charging dock, which charges the Pre when you set it on a cradle without having to make any connections. This makes it easier and faster to charge the device and hold it in place when it sits on your desk.

5. Growing number of apps
With just a few dozen apps at present, it might seem the number of apps for Palm Pre is a detriment rather than a plus. However, Palm has a long history of attracting developers and the list is growing rapidly now that the SDK for Palm Pre is available.

At the same time in our update to the new version of Android OS , please be patient.

Android 2.0 (code name ‘Eclair’) will introduce an updated user interface, Bluetooth peer-to-peer connections, as well as native Exchange support.

But Europe’s hero users will not get the Google open source mobile phone operating system, ‘Donut’ version, that is Android 1.6 version. HTC said in an e-mail sent to customers that hero will not accept Android 1.6 upgrade, but it will directly upgrade to 2.0.

Once the new version of the Android release, HTC and other mobile phone manufacturers will integrate the new version of its own custom version of OS. The end result is usually sent to the wireless telecommunications service providers, to facilitate branding (branding) and add new features.

Donut is currently with T-Mobile G1, and HTC Magic experience such as a Google phone, but these phones do not HTC Sense user interface panel (skin), so HTC is likely to decide to skip Donut, a direct upgrade to the Eclair – Motorola Droid Mobile has adopted Eclair-, because the Eclair is almost ready to release large-scale.

HTC hero is not an experience of a so-called Google phone, USB cable must be connected to PC for firmware upgrades, but this will need to uninstall the older operating system, and then re-install all of the user settings and applications. So, just skip the Donut, perhaps the right hero Users can also relatively easy.
